Shop Sales Representative

Gauci Borda & Co Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Shop Sales Representative to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our customers. This role involves engaging with customers, promoting products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and ascertain their shopping needs
• Provide product information and recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and processing transactions efficiently
• Maintain an organized sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment
• Stay informed about new products introduced in the shop.

Requirements:

• Fluent in spoken and written English and preferably Maltese
• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management
• Honest, hardworking and willing to learn new tasks
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
