Shop Sales Assistant

Job Summary:

Bureau Vallée is seeking friendly, motivated, and customer-focused Shop Sales Assistants to join the team at our upcoming store. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming shopping environment, helping customers find the right products, and ensuring the store is well-organized and fully stocked. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys retail, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with product selection and queries
• Provide accurate information on products, promotions, and services
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions
• Replenish shelves, maintain stock levels, and ensure product displays are neat and attractive
• Keep the shop floor clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety standards
• Support inventory counts and incoming deliveries
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet store targets and ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements:

• Experience in retail or customer service is an advantage, but not essential
• Strong communication and people skills
• Friendly, approachable, and helpful attitude
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
• Basic computer literacy
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Maltese or French is a plus
