A vacancy has arisen for the post of Sales Representative within the Sales Department of Simonds Farsons Cisk plc. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients, achievement of sales targets, ensuring visibility, and delivery of high-quality customer service to the existent and potential clients. He/ she will also be responsible for collection of receivables and the key source of information for all related product/brand matters

 

The selected candidate will be required to:

 

• Secure customer orders through personal sales visits to existing customers.

• Prospect and qualify new clients to identify and develop new accounts.

• Conduct follow up sales calls to all accounts to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Meet sales value, volume and penetration targets;

• Promote new products and any special deals;

• Assist in company merchandising and promotional activities.

• Advise customers about delivery schedules and after-sales service;

• Coordinate sales effort with marketing, sales management, finance, credit control and logistics.

• Ensure payment of receivables in a timely and diplomatic fashion;

• Monitor records on a daily basis as per company procedures;

• Give feedback on sales trends and general market conditions;

• Replace other sales representatives and telesales representatives if required.

 

The selected candidate will:

 

• Possess experience in the sales sector.

• Have strong negotiation and persuasion skills

• Be an excellent communicator both verbally & in writing;

• Be self-motivated, show initiative, be results-motivated and capable of working both within a professional team and independantly;

• Be proficient in using CRM software, Microsoft applications and other sales related software.

• Be fluent in both Maltese & English language

• Have a valid driver’s licence.

 

Persons having experience and track record in the FMCG industry will be considered an asset.
