If you're a commercially minded people's person with a background in Sales or Business Development within the Media industry, this could be your next step up in your career. We're looking for a Sales Manager to help the business strive for growth while taking on the responsibility of managing the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate the Sales Team to achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Use and oversee the company's CRM system to ensure accurate reporting and efficient sales operations.
  • Coach, train, and support the Sales Team through regular performance monitoring and development.
  • Approve team leave requests while ensuring adequate staffing and uninterrupted business operations.
  • Coordinate closely with Production, Accounts, and Scheduling departments to maintain smooth workflows and resolve operational issues.
  • Assist in the collection of outstanding client payments to support healthy cash flow.
  • Oversee the execution and delivery of approved barter agreements.
  • Work with the Station Director to develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Monitor market trends and adapt sales strategies to identify new business opportunities and remain competitive.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and sales performance.
  • Prepare timely reports, communicate key risks and opportunities, and ensure proactive decision-making.
  • Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative workplace culture while addressing urgent operational matters when required.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and overall service quality.
  • Contribute to achieving the company's annual revenue target through strong leadership, strategic planning, and effective team management.

Salary package: 30K gross basic + commission + allowance

Requirements

  • Previous local experience in Sales or Business Development within the Media industry
  • Previous experience managing a team
  • Fluency in Maltese
  • A dedicated self-starter who is able to grow and motivate the team
