POST: Sales Coordinator
This post is initially offered on a three (3)-year definite contract.
Join our dynamic team as a Sales Coordinator and be at the lead of driving business growth in the education sector. We are seeking a proactive individual who thrives on identifying market opportunities, understanding customer needs, and tailoring solutions to meet them. As a Sales Coordinator at MG2i, the candidate will be instrumental in promoting our bespoke part-time courses to the local industry, ensuring that our offerings align with market demands.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive market research to uncover emerging trends and opportunities.
• Develop and promote tailor-made part-time courses that cater to the evolving needs of our customers.
• Upsell additional courses and services to existing clients.
• Implement strategic marketing and sales initiatives devised by MG2i Management.
• Manage customer-facing communication channels with attention, delivering exceptional service and nurturing positive client relationships.
• Engage with local industries to identify training needs and opportunities for skill development, both on-campus and onsite.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, academic, and other relevant teams to drive business growth.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and other pertinent information for transparent communication with management.
• Vet contract requests and coordinate with partner institutes to ensure smooth delivery of part-time courses.
• Liaise internally within MG2i and with partner institutions to secure course information and other necessary details.
• Proactively seek opportunities to enhance existing processes for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
• Any other duties as may be delegated.

Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s Degree (*See Note below) with at least 3-years’ experience OR a qualification minimum at MQF Level 5 with at least 5-years’ experience in one or more of the following areas;- Administration, Finance / Accounting, Customer Care, Sales / Marketing, Data Analysis and reporting.
• Hands-on experience in sales, data analysis and reporting, along with any other areas above will be considered an asset.
• Academically qualified and fluent in both written and spoken Maltese and English.
• Charismatic with strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
• Motivated team leader with a results-driven attitude.
• Ability to manage time, multi-task and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Driving License B

* Note:
(i) Qualifications at a level higher than that required for the vacant post will be accepted for eligibility purposes, provided they meet any specified subject requirements. A Masters qualification at MQF Level 7, or equivalent, must comprise a minimum of 90 ECTS/ECVETS credits or equivalent.
A recognized Master’s qualification with a minimum of 60 ECTS/ECVET is only accepted subject to an MQRIC formal Master’s recognition statement being submitted with this application. A recognized Master’s qualification from a recognised Higher Education Institution (awarded pre-2009) with less than 60 ECTS/ECVET credits is acceptable provided that it is verified by MQRIC that the workload is comparable to at least 60 ECTS/ECVET credits.
(ii) Moreover, when candidates will not yet have formally obtained any of the above-mentioned qualifications will still be considered for the eligibility acceptance, when the applicant will be in the process of awaiting graduation and in possession of a formal final transcript.
(iii) Furthermore, candidates who are currently following a recognized programme of study at a higher MQF level than that requested above will also be considered. Such candidates are to submit evidence, preferably a final transcript, that they have successfully completed the necessary ECTS/ECVET credits by the closing time and date of the call for applications.
(iv) Furthermore, candidates who have not yet formally obtained the qualification specified in the Call will still be considered provided that they submit evidence that they are in the final phase of their course leading to such qualification and that a formal final transcript of results is submitted within two calendar months from the interview. Late submission will automatically disqualify the candidate from the recruitment procedure.
