Feelings Enterprises Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Sales & Business Development Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
As part of its growth strategy, the company is seeking to recruit a passionate and aspiring individual for the post of Sales & Business Development Manager.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the role entails the primary responsibility to improve and continue building on the company’s brand and service recognition both locally and internationally.
The Sales & Business Development Manager will assume overall responsibility of all the company’s sales channels ensuring that sales targets are set and achieved whilst leading the drive to tap into new market niches and commercial opportunities.  

Main responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with the senior management in the setting and driving of organizational vision and commercial strategy
  • Develop and implement the company’s sales strategy and programmes aimed at achieving year-on-year growth in terms of market share and overall revenues
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on the continued development of current markets and consumer niches together with the identification of new business opportunities, both through vertical integration and horizontal diversification strategy
  • In coordination with the Operations function, plan and oversee new marketing initiatives
  • Monitoring and flagging of tenders and RFPS being issued periodically
  • Develop and curate a customer relationship management system to reach out to existing and prospective customers
  • Create the required internal structures to ensure that customer requests and complaints are promptly addressed
  • Conduct periodic research in order to gauge consumer behaviour trends and awareness of competing services on the market
  • Develop and coordinate induction and training courses for new employees and refresher courses for present sales-force
  • Review sales and operational reports on a periodic basis and take corrective action as may be required
  • Acquire detailed knowledge of the full portfolio of services being offered by the company and keep abreast of all developments and technological improvements reaching the market
  • Keep abreast of competing services, marketing and promotional campaigns being undertaken
  • Attending conferences, meetings and industry events.

Requirements for the post include:

  • Ideally a post-graduate degree in marketing or a related area
  • Minimum 3 years of proven working experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager or a relevant role
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience in customer support
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • IT literate with experience using CRM software
  • Time management and planning skills and
  • Ability to lead and drive a sales team.
