Our client is looking to employ a Sales & Business Development Associate to join their new team. Here you would identify, research and develop opportunities for business growth internationally, lead negotiations, maintain solid relationships with our clients and perform marketing activities for solutions developed the company with a specific focus on the Tourism Industry. 

Responsibilities: 

• Research, build, and manage lead development pipelines to identify key contacts and information and to be up to date with the market trends.
• Contact potential clients through chats, cold calls, emails, and any other means of communication.
• Identify opportunities to promote the Company and its products through various marketing channels and engage actively in the provision of such activities. • Qualify leads from campaigns and conferences as sales opportunities.
• Negotiate terms with clients, attend meetings, and set deadlines for the fulfilment of each client’s short-term and long-term goals.
• Develop and sustain relationships with clients, addressing and resolving complaints and acting as the main point of contact between clients and internal departments.
• Understand the department’s strategy, direction, values, and ensure alignment with such strategy, and proactively discuss gaps with the line manager.
• Communicate and collaborate with the marketing and graphic design team to prepare and deliver presentations, and to ensure that (prospective) clients’ needs are met.
• Manage the commercial aspects of Arcus’s products, including but not limited to product positioning and pricing.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure that all sales processes are carried out smoothly, appropriately, professionally and on time.
• Keep up to date with the latest technologies, products and services within the tourism industry.
• Attend fairs, conferences, and exhibitions and/or any other travel as required.
• Any other task assigned by the management as required from time to time.

Skill-sets and Requirements
  • Must be passionate about sales and can build meaningful and positive professional relationships with clients and team members
  • Computer literate, fluent in English and any other language
  • A self-starter and highly motivated person with determination, persistence, and drive
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs
  • A people person with excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and changing priorities
  • High level of professionalism, tact, and diplomacy
Education & Experience
  • A degree in business administration, tourism, marketing, or any other related field of study
  • At least two years of working experience in business development or similar
  • Proven track records and experience in achieving targets and acquiring new business sales, and key account management within the tourism industry
  • Experience owning the full sales cycle including developing and closing opportunities and working closely with clients
  • Candidates with experience selling a Software as a Service will be given preference
