Foster Clark Products Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Sales Associate to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:
Reporting to the Territory or Sales Development Manager, you will enjoy a position that offers exposure to a broad range of commercial activities and customer interaction, providing administrative and functional support within a collaborative team environment. You will in turn have access to a wide array of career opportunities for further growth and development within the sales team or other desired functions.

Key Accountabilities:
Order Processing and Tracking

  • Prepare export forecasts for customers based on customer market sales and sales team input
  • Own the sales order process end to end by generating quotations, processing and maintaining orders and ensuring shipment on time to customers
  • Following up with customers and finance to ensure all relevant financial instruments are in place for orders
  • Provide customers with regular updates on order status and progress and push to remove any obstacles
  • Facilitate in dispatching marketing materials required as part of regular customer shipments.

Finance and Control

  • Follow through on the settlement of customer invoices on time
  • Support in the booking, processing, and reconciling of debit notes against advertising and promotion budgets
  • Ensure customer accounts are reconciled and communicated to customers consistently.

Customer Relationship & Service

  • Following up with customers to obtain all necessary reports required from time to time
  • Follow through on customer and consumer complaints ensuring timely responses
  • Prepare information and track the registration of products in markets where required
  • Support product launches by arranging and dispatching product samples to clients for testing.

Sales Coordination & Administration

  • Prepare and maintain customer profiles including payment terms, prices, product compliance and portfolio
  • Maintain country files containing market knowledge and separate files for client correspondence and invoices
  • Upload and ensure the accuracy of customer market sales data in all systems
  • Ensure filing cabinets are neatly kept and up to date with annual archiving taking place as per the housekeeping policy
  • Providing general administration and support tasks to our sales team including assistance in updating competition pricing, travel bookings and preparing information for upcoming sales trips.


Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education

  • A Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business administration, finance or a relevant field

Experience

  • Minimum entry-level experience of up to 2 years with any knowledge gained in Sales or Marketing, Export or Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance and Procurement would be an advantage
