Renewable Energy Broker – Swedish speaking

Commerg Ltd is seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Trainee / Junior Renewable Energy Broker. This role offers a structured training programme designed to develop the skills required to become a fully qualified broker.

During the training period (6–12 months), you will work closely with the Renewables Desk Manager, gaining hands-on experience in environmental markets, brokering, and deal structuring. Successful completion of the programme provides a pathway to a position on the Trading Floor, specialising in Renewable Energy, Biogas, Hydrogen, or Carbon markets.

Our Renewables Brokers Team

Based in Ta’ Xbiex, Malta, our team consists of nine market specialists who are commercially driven, ambitious, and entrepreneurial. We value curiosity, problem-solving, and collaboration, and we are committed to delivering results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Track developments in European and global renewable energy regulations 

• Prepare post-deal documentation for clients and internal teams 

• Develop core brokering skills through on-the-job training 

• Becoming the main information source for your customer portfolio

• Matching buyers with sellers and propose (new) deal structures

• Closing deals!

• Building your own customer portfolio

Requirements

• Fluency in English and Swedish

• Commercial mindset with a proactive approach 

• Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Outgoing and team-oriented personality
