Job Description
Nestle Malta Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Medical Representative to join their team on a full-time basis. 

Job Role: 
As a Medical Representative at Nestlé, you play a dynamic role by using your experience in the pharmaceutical/medical field to promote the products, image, and service of the company to health care professionals in order to compliantly drive recommendation/advocacy /prescriptions for these products.

Reporting to the Infant and health nutrition Business Manager, you will be the first point of contact for clients across Malta to build the image and the role of Nestlé Health Science with HealthCare Professionals and institutions. 80% of the role is focused on promotion to medical professionals while 20% is towards the planning of meetings as well as organization and participation in local symposia, local audio-visual activities, and congresses.

Key Responsibilities:

• To promote the products, image, and service of the company to health care professionals and KOLs by offering key information about the products and the diseases, in both the private and hospital market.
• Ensure the complete process of promotion of the company products portfolio and all specific market-related activities.  Such activities include feedback to the business manager on the implementation of the commercial plans and identification of threats and opportunities encountered in the field.
• Produce communication material and ensure alignment to current scientific knowledge, policies, and regulations. Makes sure that materials are underpinned by a robust scientific platform derived from publications, guidelines, and KOL interactions.
• Assists in creating a nutrition engagement strategy with external stakeholders and executes the plan.
• Managing projects/tasks such as organizing activities with medical/paramedical health professionals on topics related to NIN & NHS.
• Organization and implementation of commercial audio-visual activities and being part of a commercial project as decided by the Business Manager.
• Other duties which may be deemed appropriate for the role, are assigned from time to time.

We are looking for somebody who has:

• Relevant qualification in Sciences;
• Ability to work independently while being a team player to achieve common goals;
• Experience in the healthcare industry/sector;
• A “can do” positive attitude with a strong work ethic;
• Customer-focused and oriented;
• Excellent communication and customer handling skills;
• Fluency in English and understanding another European language is an asset.
