Job Summary: This is an ideal role for someone willing to step from a field role to a junior management position. As a Key Accounts Executive in the FMCG industry, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding relationships with our key accounts. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position reports to the Key Accounts Manager and requires a proactive, strategic, and customer-focused individual.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Account Management:**
- Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts to foster long-term partnerships.
- Develop a deep understanding of clients' needs and business objectives.
- Work closely with the Key Accounts Manager to create and implement account strategies.
2. **Sales and Revenue Generation:**
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for assigned key accounts.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve department KPIs.
3. **Strategic Planning:**
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve product offerings and customer experience.
4. **Forecasting and Reporting:**
- Monitor sales performance against targets and provide regular reports to management.
- Assist Key Account manager in preparing accurate sales forecasts and contribute to budget planning.
5. **Problem Solving:**
- Address and resolve any issues or challenges faced by key accounts promptly.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
6. **Communication and Collaboration:**
- Effectively communicate with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns.
7. **Customer Satisfaction:**
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by proactively addressing customer needs.
- Seek feedback from key accounts and use it to improve products and services.
**Qualifications and Requirements:**
- Whilst not essential, Proven experience in the FMCG industry will be considered an asset
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyse data and market trends.
- Results-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
