Head of the Brokering Desk

Job Description
Commerg Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Head of the Brokering Desk to join their team on a full-time basis. We are looking for a leader to organise the team of brokers and achieve new levels of performance and results.

Job Role: 
The role is based in Sliema, at the main office of Commerg Ltd. The Brokers team consists of 7 market specialists who have a strong commercial drive, are ambitious, eager to learn, entrepreneurial to investigate new markets, not satisfied until they have found a solution for a problem, and act as team players.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:

• Optimise the existing customer portfolio;
• Adding new clients to your existing customer portfolio;
• Improve the communication in the team for maximal efficiency;
• Matching buyers with sellers and propose (new) deal structures;
• Organise the administration of your team;
• Following up with all orders and deals with the help of the Back-Office;
• Arrange Carbon Offsetting projects.
