Corporate Sales Coordinator
Malta Marriott Hotel & Spa is currently looking to recruit a Corporate Sales Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis.
Job Role:
Malta Marriott Hotel & Spa is looking to recruit a highly motivated, Corporate Sales Coordinator within the Sales Department of the Malta Marriott Hotel & Spa, one of Malta’s leading 5-Star hotels and part of Marriott International - one of the most prestigious and recognised hospitality brands in the world.
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing – handling the Corporate segment, this role will require the development and nurturing of business relationships, and daily communication with the hotel operational departments, whilst working closely with reservations and events teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop & maintain strong relations with existing and prospective clients of Malta Marriott
- Represent Malta Marriott, promoting the company at every opportunity, with the scope of increasing leads for the hotel
- Communicate professionally and respond to clients in an efficient manner
- Proactively prospect new accounts for the hotel
- Manage schedules and provide the necessary support to team members
- Assist in the preparation and organization of client events
- Maintain an effective filing system for the corporate department to ensure deadlines are adhered to
- Be a team player.
Requirements:
- Candidate must exhibit strong intrapersonal and presentation skills, be organised and meet deadlines, be willing to learn continuously, have a structured approach to planning and be able to work independently and under pressure
- Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong command of English
- Knowledge of Maltese and/or a foreign language would be considered an asset
- Good understanding of Opera PMS and Sales & Catering
- Diploma or higher in Business management or a related field.
