A well-established group of Companies specializing in Business & Commercial Services, is searching to recruit a Business Development Officer. The chosen candidate will report directly to the Director, and will have the opportunity to grow and influence the business' future development objectives across diverse areas of specialisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Report to various business units and be responsible for researching and pursuing new leads for the growth of the business;
  • Exhibit a thorough understanding of the Group and affiliated companies and cross sell services to new and existing clients;
  • Work hand in hand with the Marketing team to understand and optimise the marketing channels for business development;
  • Liaise with the Marketing team on business trips, events and international roadshows;
  • Attend internal and external meetings with clients;
  • Follow up on client leads and business opportunities;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers;
  • Bring forward networking trends and identify opportunities;
  • Coordinate innovative business development programmes and solutions;
  • Track proposals, opportunities and business development initiatives;
  • Organise business trips for both new clients and company personnel.
Requirements
  • A confident professional with a sharp business acumen;
  • Impeccable fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of other languages will be considered an asset
  • Strong communication skills, able to engage positively and productively;
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills;
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Highly organised, efficient and able to manage own workload with minimal supervision;
  • Proficient in the use of all Microsoft applications;
  • Flexible to travel according to business needs.
Education and Experience
  • A Level Standard of Education, as a minimum
  • Prior experience in sales/business devlopment is mandatory
