Business Development Manager

General Soft Drinks Co Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. 

Job Role:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing, measuring and implementing integrated business plans for specific Company Brands.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain good working relationships with clients displaying sound abilities to initiate strategic dialogue and listen, advise, influence, negotiate and make presentations at all levels
• Work closely with the National Sales Managers and Territory Sales Managers and advise Presellers on selling strategies on the various beverages. Also, to provide assistance in closing contracts with clients
• Advise on the placement of merchandising and activation equipment in selected outlets liaising with the Trade Marketing Executives
• Monitor and report on the progress of the brands against the business plan and recommend actions required to enhance the business or be in line
• Communicate decisions on brand development, support new brand activities, and ensure the brand values and culture are reflected accurately
• Identify and propose gaps and potential areas for new business and product development
• Monitor and control all costs (such as discounts), keeping costs within budget
• Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analysing business developments and monitoring market trends
• Produce and analyse weekly and monthly reports on sales and comparisons of Actuals versus Budgets.
