Our client, a leading company within the tech industry is looking for a Business Development Executive. Your main duties will be to: 

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across multiple industries to support revenue growth.
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, converting prospects into long-term client relationships.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends, customer needs, and commercial opportunities.
  • Execute lead generation and outreach activities through networking, partnerships, events, and digital channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Lead discovery discussions to understand client requirements and align solutions with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create proposals, presentations, and tailored solution offerings.
  • Contribute to project scoping, pricing strategies, and commercial negotiations.
  • Establish and support strategic partnerships with external organisations and industry stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for market expansion, service development, and innovation initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline reporting.
  • Provide market insights and performance updates to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to generate and convert B2B sales opportunities.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical solutions to a range of audiences.
  • Existing network within sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, or healthcare.

Education and Experience

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in business development, sales, account management, or consulting.
  • Experience selling technology, software, or digital solutions.
