Assistant Retail Shop Manager

Our client, who specialises in the Retail industry, is recruiting for a motivated and organised Assistant Shop Manager. Reporting to the Shop Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with daily tasks, managing staff, and providing excellent customer service to our valued customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist the Retail Shop Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the retail store
• Train and supervise retail staff to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to company policies
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking
• Handle customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organised store environment
• Assist with creating and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue
• Process transactions and handle cash and credit card payments
• Assist with visual merchandising and product displays to attract customers
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure working environment

Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 1000hrs - 1900hrs, Saturday: 0900hrs - 1300hrs.

The chosen candidate will have a half day off every week due to working Saturdays.

• Previous local experience in a retail or customer service role.
• Excellent level of written and verbal English.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of inventory management and visual merchandising techniques
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• An 'O' Level of Education
