Mint Health Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Quality Assurance (QA) Officer to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

MINT Health is currently looking to recruit a Quality Assurance (QA) Officer to join its dynamic team. The company focuses on the representation and distribution of various pharmaceutical products within the local market.

Your responsibilities within this role will include:

  • Ensuring correctness and upkeep of the GDP and GMP quality system
  • Monitoring compliance with the requirements of GMP and ensuring that relabelling activities carried out are according to the scope of the GMP/ Manufacturing license issued by the local authorities
  • Preparing the necessary documentation for relabelling operations
  • Review of batch documentation as per Standard Operating Procedures
  • Qualifying any third-party suppliers of relabelling materials used for relabelling activities
  • Supporting the QP with all documentation required for release of products, and to ensure batch release certificates are issued for all released products
  • Qualification and validation of GMP equipment and processes and re-validaiton when necessary
  • Perform Annual Product Quality Reviews
  • Responsible for coordination of third-party relabelling activities
  • Responsible for opening, writing, following up, and closing of deviations, change controls, and customer complaints relating to GDP and GMP activities
  • Responsible for induction training and regular training of personnel who fall under the GDP and GMP quality system
  • Assist in qualification (including auditing and agreements) of any third-party suppliers (including calibration suppliers, pest control suppliers, delivery suppliers etc.)
  • Assist in qualification and yearly licence checks of suppliers
  • To assist in dealing with recalled, rejected or returned products.

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Has a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific field
  • Has good verbal and written communication skills
  • Is fluent in the English language
  • Has experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Has strong organizational skills
  • Is confident with the use of Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Has an eye for detail and quality-oriented perspective
  • Is able to work independently, enthusiastically and proactively with a can-do attitude.
