Overview of the role:
We are looking for someone who is organised, enthusiastic and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a highly detail-oriented, organised and motivated that would be assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Compliance department under the direct supervision of the Compliance manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular compliance checks to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Perform KYC, KYB and Customer Due Diligence checks ensuring proper and accurate verification of client records.
• Support the Compliance team in the preparation of regulatory reports and filings.
• Conduct customer risk assessments.
• Assist in onboarding processes.
• Periodically conduct reviews of Client files.
• Stay updated on relevant Regulatory rules and requirements, such as AML / CFT laws and any other industry-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of compliance across the Company.
Qualifications & Competencies:
• Minimum of one (1) year working experience in a Compliance related role within Financial Services.
• Experience in Anti-Money Laundering rules & regulations.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office: (Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint).
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in communication skills across a wide range of channels and audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• An enthusiastic approach to problem solving.
• Have a sharp eye for detail.
• Willingness to learn.
• A cool head under pressure – we work as a team and support each other but some periods are busier than others.
Would be considered as an asset:
• Compliance-related qualifications will be considered as an asset.
• Understanding of Hellenic languages (Italian, Greek).
• Past experience in working at a CSP, Law Firm or a Regulatory Authority.
