Based at our production facility in Dingli, the selected candidate will be the key Quality Assurance representative acting as a decisive and effective leader for the quality team:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• Managing and implementing all Quality Control Systems and acting as the main driver of quality assurance within the Group.
• Managing the Quality Assurance team based at the quarry and other production facilities.
• Overseeing testing and company procedures ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensuring all construction materials being used fully comply with the contract drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Assisting project managers with any technical queries whilst also attending progress meetings that may arise from time to time.
• Developing and maintaining the laboratory to ensure continued high quality standards in both environmental and industrial standards.
• Liaising with customers, government entities and company project coordinators, investigating complaints and advising possible solutions.
• Developing any potential new products and/or procedures to enhance and support a fully autonomous Quality Control System.
• Ensuring all procured items by the Group, especially raw materials, are all up to the required standards.
• Keeping up to date with relevant government legislation and industry developments.
The successful candidate should preferably have:
• A degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a similar role coupled with a strong background in the construction industry.
• Experience with ISO and CE certifications within the industry would be considered an asset.
• The ability to effectively communicate with a diverse audience.
• Knowledge and proficiency of construction materials, methods and techniques.
