Role Overview
Our Client is seeking a senior professional to take ownership of operational standards, brand consistency, and intellectual property across its multi-division structure. This role will be instrumental in designing and embedding structured systems, ensuring operational excellence, and safeguarding brand identity throughout the Group. Working closely with leadership teams, the successful candidate will drive the creation of standardised procedures, quality frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives across all business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Systems & SOP Design: Establish, refine, and standardise Group-wide operational procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across all business units. Ensure documentation remains accurate, practical, and aligned with evolving operational needs and industry expectations.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Oversee regular audits and inspections across all sites to ensure compliance with internal standards and external requirements. Maintain inspection readiness across all operations and monitor corrective action plans to ensure timely resolution and improvement.
  • Intellectual Property & Brand Standards Development: Lead the creation, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of Group-wide brand standards and operational intellectual assets, ensuring consistency across all divisions. Develop and maintain detailed operational and brand manuals while supporting the rollout of new concepts and business initiatives. Collaborate with external advisors where required to support trademark protection and intellectual property management.
  • Continuous Improvement & Performance Enhancement: Identify opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness, service delivery, and guest experience. Lead improvement initiatives that strengthen consistency and performance while fostering a culture of excellence across the organisation.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with senior management and operational teams to embed standards across all levels of the organisation. Influence stakeholders to ensure alignment with Group objectives and promote a unified approach to operational delivery.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

  • Education: A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least five years’ experience in hospitality operations, multi-site management, quality assurance, or operational excellence, with proven involvement in SOP development and brand standards implementation.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear, structured operational documentation.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels across a diverse organisational structure.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems, with familiarity in operational frameworks and quality assurance tools.
  • Organisation: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Self-Motivated: Driven, proactive, and capable of working independently while maintaining focus on long-term objectives.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical ability with a practical, solutions-oriented approach to operational challenges.
