Compliance Officer (Vehicles)

We are looking for a Compliance Officer to ensure operational compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards. This role manages registers for licences, certifications, and machinery validity, with full authority to issue Stop-Work Orders if non-compliance or safety hazards are identified.

Key Responsibilities

Licence & Certification Control: Maintain registers for company permits, statutory certifications, and employee driving/competency licences.  

Asset & Site Inspections: Monitor inspection and calibration statuses for equipment, machinery, and tools. Conduct site and workshop audits.  

Enforcement & Corrective Action: Issue Stop-Work Orders for non-compliance or unsafe conditions, overseeing corrective actions before work resumes. 

 Reporting & Liaison: Coordinate with regulatory bodies, external auditors, and management, staying up to date with changing legislation. 

 Safety Culture: Promote safety, health, quality, and environmental compliance across all teams and subcontractors.
