We are seeking skilled individuals to join our teams as Project Leaders. As a project leader, you will be at the forefront of helping us deliver transformational solutions on core government services such as Police Forces, Health, Social Security, Tax, and Customs. 

We seek motivated and energetic individuals with strong leadership skills who are interested in joining one of our project teams. As a Project Leader, you will be entrusted with leading consultancy and software development projects that result in implementing major Business initiatives and reforms.

The role entails either analysing requirements and formulating technical and business recommendations and other documentation to satisfy the client’s ICT Consultancy requirements as per contractual obligations; OR supervising the implementation from requirements gathering to actual deployment to production to ensure quality within time and budget.

Your primary responsibilities as a Project Leader will include leading project teams and ensuring the successful execution of projects that align with significant business goals. You will be key in coordinating efforts across various teams and stakeholders, managing resources, and addressing any issues that arise to keep projects on track.

The Project Leader shall liaise with external suppliers and other MITA departments where necessary. 

Eligible candidates must hold one of the following sets of qualifications and/or experience in areas related to either ICT and/or Business and/or Finance and/or Education:

I. A qualification at MQF Level 7 OR higher; OR

II. A qualification at MQF Level 6 and an additional one year of experience; OR

III. A qualification at MQF Level 5 and an additional three years’ experience; OR

IV. A qualification at MQF Level 4 and an additional four years’ experience; OR

V. Five years of experience.

MITA has a structured Career Progression framework. Successful candidates may be engaged in the position of Project Leader at either of the following levels depending on their qualifications, experience and competence level as determined through the interview: i)the standard level: Career Level 4; or ii) the Senior level, Career Level 5.
