Business Analyst

Our client, a leading transportation provider here in Malta, is recruiting for a Business Analyst to join their growing team. Forming part of the operations team, your duties will include : 

• Run simulations to assign resources to services and suggest ways to improve resource use. 
• Make sure transportation resources are assigned correctly, following rules and maintenance guidelines. 
• Ensure all transport providers are given tasks within the company's safety rules. 
• Use the scheduling program (GOAL) and other tools to help with planning and assigning resources.
•  Study the transport network and group routes by areas to understand them better. 
• Create regular reports with key performance indicators (KPIs) to analyze how well routes perform at different times. 
• Check route efficiency from the viewpoints of the company, drivers, and customers, considering punctuality, traffic, and safety, and work with managers to find ways to make routes more efficient.

• Experience in management transport network will be considered an asset
• Proficient in both written and verbal in English
• Knowledge of IT tools
• Knowledge of advanced Excel
• Highly organised
• Results oriented with methodical and analytical
• Able to communicate effectively

• Degree related to Mathematics and/or Statistics is ideal
