Production Manager

Our client within the hospitality industry, is looking to recruit a Production Manager to join their growing team. Reporting to the Director, the chosen candidate will:

• Oversee the daily operations of production and shop activities.
• Lead, motivate, and manage the production team, ensuring schedules are properly assigned and daily production plans are communicated clearly.
• Develop and execute short-term and long-term production plans aligned with the yearly production schedule, current stock requirements (UK and Malta), and B2B orders.
• Conduct consistent quality control checks to maintain high-quality standards.
• Monitor and manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure timely repairs.
• Track raw material stock levels and coordinate with suppliers and transporters to ensure timely orders.
• Manage all shipments, including supplier orders and customer deliveries, ensuring efficient and timely execution.

• Hands-on, adaptable, and flexible approach to tasks.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a sense of responsibility.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
• Advanced computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software tools.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.

• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Must be located in Malta and have a local experience.
• Driving license is preferred.
