Malta Public Transport Services (Operations) Limited is currently looking to recruit a Product Executive (Technical) to join their team on a full-time basis.

Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing our technical product offerings.

MISSION:

  • Own and develop the Tallinja ticketing system including both personalised and non-personalised cards
  • Play a crucial role in the strategic planning, development, and management of bus and other passenger transport-related services;
  • Configure and manage backend product specifications
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Including but not limited to:

  • Identify trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies in the passenger transportation industry
  • Assist in defining the product vision, roadmap, and strategy based on market insights, customer feedback, and business objectives
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to prioritize product features, enhancements, and initiatives
  • Assist the Sales Manager in leading the end-to-end product lifecycle management, from concept ideation to product launch and post-launch optimization
  • Define and document product specifications
  • Conduct regular product reviews, track performance metrics, and gather feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Work with marketing dept. and peers within the sales team to develop effective product positioning, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns
  • Collaborate with customer service team to gather customer feedback, identify weak points, and drive improvements in service quality
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements
  • Coordinate and prioritise tasks across cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of product initiatives
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and obstacles, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders, including General Manager and Commercial Director.


RELATION WITH INTERNAL/ EXTERNAL POSITIONS:

  • Hierarchically subordinate to the Sales Manager
  • Strong relationship with Customer Care Dept. and IT Dept., and other stakeholder departments, possibly also external entities
  • Liaise with the Finance department to determine requirements for financial reporting
  • Relationship with external suppliers.


SKILLS:

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
