Process Engineer

• Lead cost reduction initiatives and manufacturing excellence /6 Sigma projects
• Improve process yields and machine uptime
• Support in machine overhauls and routine upkeep of all equipment
• Communicate directly with the Production Department to coordinate maintenance, be it breakdown and repair, scheduled or preventive, in process areas
• Lead material qualification and support the introduction of new processes and machines in the manufacturing area
• Optimize tool design to improve productivity and yields
• Conduct employee performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency and knowledge. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (would be considered an asset) 
• Proven work experience as a process engineer
• Advanced technical skills
• Analytical thinker
• Familiarity with state health and safety regulations
• Ability to project manage.
