Senior Cost Manager
Ably Resources (Malta) Ltd is currently looking to recruit a Senior Cost Manager to join their client's team on a full-time basis.
About the client:
Our Client is an international consultancy undertaking design, cost and project management services and exceeding client expectations on every project.
Due to continued expansion, a Senior Cost Manager is required to act as a key point of contact on commercial aspects of projects and provide excellent service to a range of clients throughout the world.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure effective communication with clients, consultants and contractors throughout projects
- Lead cost management on assigned projects
- Ensure quality and accurate estimates and cost plans are delivered timely
- Identify best value solutions for clients
- Produce pre and post-contract reports
- Oversee production of BoQ’s
- Manage tender and procurement stages
- Manage post-contract cost variances
- Negotiate with contractors and agree on final accounts.
Talent will:
- Be qualified Quantity Surveying / Construction professionals with a wealth of experience within the construction sector
- Preferably hold MRICS status
- Demonstrate experience on a range of projects
- Possess a driving license and own a vehicle
- Proven capability with cost and estimating software such as CostX
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
