Duty Manager

Job Description
Popeye Village in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Duty Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
The ideal candidate needs to be energetic and provide support as needed throughout all departments to provide efficient operations and a memorable guest experience. Reporting directly to the Directors, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the below.

Responsibilities:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
• Oversee the smooth daily operation of the property and be the key contact for any guest issues or emergencies
• Follow department policies, procedures, and service standards
• Co-ordinating and monitoring the daily operation of the Village
• Handling any Guest Complaints
• Handling any accidents/incidents which may occur during the day
• Helping Heads of Departments with problem-solving
• Following event program preparation, and setup, timings, and service
• Keeping the Village in a safe state, both for Staff and Visitors.

Requirements:

• Previous leadership experience required
• Strong command of the English language - knowledge of Maltese will be considered an asset
• Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications preferred
• Must possess a professional presentation
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
