Our client who specializes in the shipping industry is looking for a Crewing Coordinator. Your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Organizing crew changes and making the necessary travel arrangements
- Applying for the seafarers' documents with the flag authorities
- Issuing employment contracts for the seafarers
- Handling the payroll of the seafarers
- Taking part in an on-call rota system for any after-hours emergencies (approximately 10weeks/year) - PAID
- Being the first point of contact for the Captain of your ships for employment-related queries.
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Proficient in the use of MS Word and MS Excel
- Crewing experience will be considered an asset
- Previous experience in operations, rostering or similar role
- Flexi hours with the possibility of partial remote working
