The Sales & Brand Manager shall be responsible for achieving the company’s targeted sales profitability as well as position and share within the market through the formulation and implementation of sales plans and strategies for the assigned brands. You shall be responsible to formulate and implement sales plans and strategies, and to monitor same against actual results, reporting to your superior on a monthly basis or as may be necessary.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Category Management
Analyze market share data to generate actionable business insights.
Align with category strategies to optimize business performance.
Collaborate with suppliers to develop strategies for sales and market share growth.
Monitor competitors’ products and strategies.
Assess category performance across channels and capitalize on opportunities.
Research and replicate successful models.
Supplier Management
Work with suppliers to create joint sales plans and meet growth targets.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to drive mutual success.
Review and communicate the outcomes of initiatives to suppliers.
Ensure consistent collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
Sales Execution
Manage budgets and ensure funds are effectively allocated.
Equip sales teams with the tools to execute category strategies.
Empower teams to implement plans and achieve 'Best-In-Class' performance.
Conduct in-store assessments and document opportunities.
Ensure category plans are clearly communicated to sales and marketing teams.
Budgeting, Planning & Forecasting
Drive bottom-line results through precise forecasting and budgeting.
Manage category budgets and stock forecasting.
Oversee order placements and stock management.
Managing & Coaching Staff
Participate in recruitment, training, and performance appraisals.
Motivate and develop sales teams to achieve maximum profitability.
Foster strong client relationships and maintain competitor insights.
Monitor client accounts, stock levels, and ensure timely deliveries.
Support company participation in events and prepare reports as needed.
Educational and skill requirements
Education:
· A university degree or equivalent in a business-related subject.
Experience:
· A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Skillsets & Requirements:
· Competent user of Microsoft Office applications
· Fluent in both written and spoken English and Maltese
· Valid driving license
