Marketing Content Writer

Deriv (Europe) Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Marketing Content Writer to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
As a Marketing Content Writer at Deriv, you'll write accurate and engaging content in your native Spanish and/or Portuguese language. With a robust multi-linguistic background, you’ll help us produce marketing and educational content. Your writing expertise will enhance our brand experiences, transform fintech information into understandable concepts, and fine-tune our marketing communication strategy. You’ll supervise the work of our English-Spanish and English-Portuguese translators in Latin America and ensure consistency with the English version. You’ll be the link between the translators and the content writers in our Asia offices.

Your challenges:

• Structure and create impactful content for all marketing funnel stages on social media, emails, web pages, blogs, videos, and more. 
• Understand, edit, and proofread marketing and editorial content for clarity, accuracy, grammar, punctuation, voice, and tone.
• Compare, review, edit, and transcreate content from English to Spanish and Portuguese and vice versa, in close collaboration with subject matter experts.
• Oversee the localization of the content for different markets in adherence to brand quality guidelines.
• Optimize content effectiveness by using your experience and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Qualitative experience in content writing, content marketing, transcreation, or digital content translation.
• More than 3 years of Prior experience in working with fintech content.
• Proven ability to transform complex, technical information into clear, attractive content.
• Excellent understanding of the Spanish language and cultural references to allow for realistic translations.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills with keen attention to punctuation, spelling, grammar, and syntax.

What’s good to have:

• Experience in journalism, technical writing, or a related field.
• Native speaker’s command of the spoken and written Portuguese language.
• Experience with content strategy, UX, information architecture, or SEO.
• Experience with financial products and services.
