Junior Marketing Officer (Part-time)

Salvo Grima Group specializes in ship supply, travel retail, wholesale, and product distribution across Europe and worldwide. Established in 1860, we employ over 500 people in seven countries.

We are looking for a hands on, creative, and organised Junior Marketing Officer on a part time basis to support the Marketing Manager in the day-to-day marketing execution across the Group.

The duties include:

• Assist in creating, filming, editing, and publishing content for social media platforms.
• Support the management of social media channels, including scheduling posts and responding to basic enquiries and comments.
• Help maintain content calendars and coordinate marketing activities in line with campaigns and promotions.
• Assist with the setup and monitoring of Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns under the guidance of the Marketing Manager.
• Compile basic campaign performance reports and help track key marketing metrics.
• Design creative assets for social media, email marketing, digital ads, and print materials when required. 
• Ensure all marketing content aligns with the company’s brand guidelines.
• Support the coordination and delivery of marketing projects and campaigns.
• Liaise with internal teams to gather information and assets required for marketing initiatives.
• Provide support to the Marketing Manager and assist with day to day marketing activities.
• Stay up to date with social media trends and identify new content ideas and opportunities

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role particularly with creating engaging social media content, Reels, Google Ads/Meta Ads
• Holding a relevant qualification will be an asset 
• Highly proficient in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
• Possess strong intrapersonal and communication skills
• Eye for detail and brand consistency
• Ability to work on own initiative and manage multiple projects 
• Creative, proactive and results oriented mindset
• Strong understanding of social media platforms
