Job position: Full time

We are seeking a strategic, creative and commercially driven Head of Marketing to lead Med.TV's global marketing initiatives and strengthen our position as the leading pan-Mediterranean television network. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that grow our audience, enhance brand awareness, support commercial revenue, and build strategic partnerships. This role will work closely with the COO and senior management team to drive the company's growth and international presence.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy

Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with MED.TV's business objectives. Identify new opportunities to expand the brand, grow audiences and increase market visibility across television, digital platforms and international markets.

Brand Management

Lead the development and management of the MED.TV brand, ensuring consistency across all marketing, communications and promotional activities. Strengthen MED.TV's reputation as the leading broadcaster promoting the Mediterranean region.

Audience Growth & Digital Marketing

Develop and oversee campaigns across television, social media, YouTube, streaming platforms, website and email marketing to increase audience engagement and subscriber growth. Monitor campaign performance and optimise activities using data and analytics.

Communications & Public Relations

Lead corporate communications, media relations and public relations initiatives. Develop compelling marketing campaigns and promotional content that increase brand awareness and support programme launches, events and corporate initiatives.

Strategic Partnerships

Identify and develop partnerships with tourism boards, cultural organisations, international institutions, brands and commercial partners that enhance Med.TV's visibility, content offering and commercial opportunities.

Commercial Marketing

Work closely with the Commercial and Business Development teams to support sponsorships, advertising sales and revenue generation through effective marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.

Leadership & Collaboration

Lead and mentor the digital marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration and high performance. Work closely with editorial, production, commercial and audience development teams to ensure integrated marketing activities across the organisation.

Performance & Budget Management

Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and strong return on investment. Monitor KPIs and prepare regular performance reports for senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within media, broadcasting, tourism or a consumer-facing international brand.
  • Proven experience in brand strategy, digital marketing and audience growth.
  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
  • Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns and budgets.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using marketing analytics and performance measurement tools.

Working Conditions

Full-time position with occasional international travel.

Hybrid working arrangement based in Malta.

Attendance at industry events, conferences and partner meetings as required.
