Our client is a leading company in Malta. As they are growing, they would like to employ a GroupHead of Digital.
The Role
You will be reporting into the Chief Strategy Officer and will mainly be responsible for the Group's digital strategy, sales and profitability
You will also ensure a consistent customer experience across all digital customer touchpoints
You will standardise the technology solutions across the organisation
Work with the commercial, brands, marketing and IT Teams to help develop and execute a group wide digital business strategy including
Create and designs end to end digital strategy and processes across group
Communicate and cascade digital strategy clearly to group
Build and lead a highly engaged digital team and provide the platform
Lead a Digital Board/Committee comprising digital, commercial, and other business leaders
Continually drive new sales and marketing initiatives (aligned with commercial) to increase traffic to sites and increase sales and profitability and become a keycontributor to market leadership
Lead the development and implementation of new digital apps to reach the customer
Drive the implementation of the central CRM function across the Group and lead CRM and loyalty architecture and resources
Keep abreast of developing technologies to ensure state of the art digital assets
Lead the CRM & Loyalty, Content & User Experience, Business Development & Delivery Digital Analytics, Performance Marketing and ecommerce
Ensure UX is of high standard
Report and analysis resource available
Recruit, train, lead and appraise team
Ensure cyber/Info security and governance
Negotiate commerce terms and conditions of any aspects that impact digital
Involved in annual technology road map and budgetary process
Oversee project progress and ensure that the team is implementing objectivessmoothly
Ensure that organisation is up to date with the latest technology available to ensure top notch customer experience
Skill-sets and Requirements
Knowledge of Digital Marketplace – Amazon, Zalando and a clear understanding of web-based platforms and technologies
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in developing and operating international e- commerce platforms
Solid experience with online marketing tools and multiple marketing sales channels
Understanding, implementing, and calculating ROAS
Be technically minded – understand architecture to facilitate operations through systems, data management tools, order management systems, warehouse management systems etc.
Strong commercial and analytical skills
Content flow management, master data flow
In depth knowledge of different digital channels
Experience in managing a internationally based team
Proven programme and product management skills
Education & Experience
Degree in marketing, digital technologies, or similar relevant field
Fluency in spoken and written English, ideally coupled with French and/or Arabic
