Opening in 2024, Mercury Towers is a new destination which epitomises vibrant downtown living. Comprising Malta's tallest residential building, the luxury ME Hotel by Meliá, a new quarter of public spaces, restaurants, bars, wellness, entertainment and curated retail, Mercury Towers is an unforgettable farewell from Zaha Hadid, the most prolific female architect of her time. JOB OVERVIEW:
As part of the pre-opening team, the Digital Marketing Manager plays a vital role in the development and implementation of the marketing and brand communications strategies which includes both Mercury Towers and the Melia portfolios. You will support the departmental function in general day-to-day coordination, while taking the lead on executing the digital strategy, including paid campaigns and reporting. You are a curious and versatile marketer who is eager to explore all functional areas of marketing and keep abreast of the entire portfolio.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, execute, and manage all digital marketing for Mercury, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media
  • Establish and execute a digital marketing strategy to distribute content
  • Work with and manage a team of writers, marketers, and other stakeholders to maintain [Company X]’s digital presence
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging across all social channels
  • Identify, analyze, and measure trends and content to assess how well it’s performing and optimize user experience
  • Create and maintain an editorial calendar to deliver targeted content
  • Identifies patterns and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights
  • Create and manage content for [Company X]’s social media, emails, and other forms of digital communication
  • Builds new growth strategies through digital marketing
  • Manages all websites, search engine optimization, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns
  • Research, track, and analyze consumer behaviors and trends and implement research into digital marketing campaigns
  • Prepare reports and analytics on the overall performance of various marketing campaigns, including ROIs and KPIs
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies and marketing techniques
  • Develop and monitor campaign budgets
  • Stay up to date on the latest social media trends, and implement them in [Company X]’s marketing campaigns.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Social media savvy, with a passion for staying on top of trends
  • Strong sense of creativity, imagination, and innovation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with other departments
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms and best practices
  • Ability to analyze consumer metrics, reports, and trends
  • Strong project management and managerial skills
  • In-depth knowledge of current digital trends
  • Experience in digital marketing, or a related field
  • Proficiency in photo and video editing software
  • Experience with SEO and SEM strategy and keyword research
  • Understanding of website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics
  • Analytical mind, with a passion for measuring data.
