Communications Manager

We are looking to hire an experienced marketing professional to join our client's team as a Communications Manager. In this role, you will have a crucial part in developing and executing strategic communication initiatives to promote their brand, enhance visitor experiences, and maintain an excellent company's reputation. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of internal and external communications, managing media relations, and ensuring effective messaging across various channels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with the brand positioning and enhance the company's reputation.
• Supervise internal communication channels to ensure timely and effective information sharing among departments, including newsletters, intranet platforms, and team meetings.
• Coordinate and manage external communication efforts, such as media relations, press releases, media interviews, and media events, to promote the image and secure positive media coverage.
• Act as the primary spokesperson for the company, building and maintaining relationships with media representatives and influencers.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to create and execute integrated promotional campaigns, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all communication channels.
• Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and visitor sentiment to provide insights and recommendations for proactive communication initiatives.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including high-profile visitors, local community organizations, luxury travel agencies, and industry influencers.
• Plan and execute exclusive events and experiences, like press conferences, company tours, and VIP receptions, to engage and impress key stakeholders.
• Oversee crisis communication strategies and serve as the main point of contact during emergencies or critical incidents to protect the hotel's reputation.
• Manage the hotel's social media presence and online reputation by creating engaging content, interacting with guests, and monitoring and responding to feedback and reviews.
• Create and distribute high-quality internal and external communication materials, such as newsletters, press releases, brochures, blogs, and presentations.
• Conduct regular training sessions for staff members to ensure consistent communication standards, service excellence, and adherence to luxury brand guidelines.

• A strong understanding of the luxury hospitality industry.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and a sophisticated tone.
• Extensive knowledge of media relations, crisis communication, and social media management.
• Proficiency in using communication tools, software, and platforms, including social media management tools.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a strong capacity to think strategically and propose innovative ideas.

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Communication Manager or similar role.
