AV (Audio-Visual) Technician

Powerhouse Audio-Visuals & Events is seeking highly motivated and talented Technicians to join our Audio-Visual department on a full-time basis. The successful candidates would be required to have good knowledge and experience in either Audio, Video, and Stage Lighting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, set up, and configure AV equipment for meetings, conferences, presentations, and events
• Testing & operating of AV Equipment
• Provide technical assistance during events, swiftly finding solutions and implementing necessary adjustments to maintain the smooth flow of the event
• Dismantling of AV Equipment for return delivery.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams
• In-depth knowledge of sound, video, or lighting equipment
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• A keen eye for detail
• Familiarity with computers and IP Networking Systems.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the events industry, demonstrating a solid understanding of technical knowledge and execution.

Academic Certifications: 

• Relevant certifications or qualifications in the technical audiovisual field will be advantageous.

• Events can take place on any day and may require long hours. 
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as events may require.
• High level of physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
