Production Operator

MGC Pharma (Malta) Operations Ltd., a generic pharmaceutical development & manufacturing company operating within the Hal Far Industrial Estate in Malta, is seeking to further expand and strengthen their team. Therefore, the company wishes to announce the following vacancy on a full-time basis: Production Operator.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• To ensure that all products are manufactured, packed and stored according to GMP regulations and as per company procedures.

• Ability to compile manufacturing documentation.

• Cleaning of manufacturing equipment and the manufacturing plant.

• Ensure that all GMP-related training, including SOP training needs, is performed in a timely manner.

• Working in a clean room environment and wearing personal protective equipment

• To work under the guidance of the Production Manager to perform and complete the assigned duties in a timely manner.

• Managing the adequate storage and movement of materials into, inside and out of the warehouse.

• Assisting the Production Manager in all storekeeping duties including inventory management and control of expired and / or rejected materials.

• Loading and unloading of materials and operating of the forklift

• To follow all EHS procedures in daily operations.

• To follow GMP regulations and company procedures at all times.

• To perform additional duties as may from time to time be required in the best interest of the company.

Education and / or Work Experience Required

• Ideally experienced with the pharmaceutical industry and familiar with Good Manufacturing Processes.

• Capable of following standard operating procedures and able to work cautiously and safely.

• Possession of good communication skills both oral and written English.

• Have good computer skills. 

• Sound knowledge of the manufacturing environment.

• Be flexible and adaptable.

• Be self-motivated, organized, flexible and capable of working independently

• Good communication and problem-solving skills, and able to work well as part of a team
