Our client, a reputable legal firm, is currently looking to recruit a Corporate and M&A Senior Associate to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of complex, multi-jurisdictional corporate transactions from start to finish.
  • Lead cross-border M&A and corporate restructuring projects, overseeing all stages from due diligence through to execution.
  • Draft and negotiate high-value transactional documentation, including share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and restructuring instruments.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship and ad hoc internal training to junior lawyers, fostering talent and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with global corporate clients, equity firms, and institutional investors.
  • Collaborate with partners on strategic business development and client engagement initiatives.
  • Manage and lead legal due diligence exercises across various industries.
  • Stay up to date with developments in local and international corporate law to ensure a cutting-edge legal approach.

Requirements:

  • A warranted lawyer with a minimum of 6 years’ post-qualification experience in corporate law, ideally with a strong focus on M&A.
  • Proven experience in leading cross-border transactions and managing high-value corporate deals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage teams and mentor junior professionals.
  • Commercially minded, highly organised, and client-focused.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
  • Able to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
