Legal & Business Advisor

Our client, a leading CSP is seeking to recruit a Legal & Business Advisor to join their legal team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Providing advise to regulated and non regulated clients on multiple regulatory obligations within different areas such as gaming and financial services, AML/CFT, intellectual property and privacy law
• Taking ownership of the day to day planning and management of clients' activities and obligations imposed by local regulatory and supervisory authorities
• Assisting with the management and development of compliance systems
• Identifying market and regulatory trends whilst developing the group's overall service offering
• Keeping abreast of any related laws and regulations within the areas of operation in which the assigned portfolio of clients operate in
• Delivering training to clients and team members on systems, procedures and internal processes 
• Any other duty which may be required from time to time 

• Minimum three years working experience in a similar role
• Ability to work on own initiative and meet tight deadlines
• Self driven with a keen eye for detail
• Sound knowledge of laws, rules and regulations related to CSPs, Trusts and Trustees, and other regulated bodies
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English
• Possess excellent intrapersonal skills

• Hold a Doctor of Laws/Masters in Advocacy from the University of Malta
