Our Client is seeking highly motivated lawyers with expertise in Corporate Law, Financial Services, and Capital Markets to join their team. This is an opportunity to provide tailored legal services to international clients across various practice areas.
Role Overview
As a Lawyer in the Financial Services team, you will advise clients on corporate, banking, regulatory, finance, and transactional matters. You will assist with licensing and ongoing compliance obligations for regulated entities, including collective investment schemes and investment firms. Additionally, you will provide guidance to entities accessing the capital markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Advisory: Advise clients on corporate, banking, regulatory, finance, and transactional matters.
- Compliance Assistance: Assist with licensing and ongoing compliance obligations for regulated entities.
- Capital Markets Guidance: Provide guidance to entities accessing the capital markets.
- Teamwork Under Pressure: Work diligently under pressure as part of a team servicing mainly international clients.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
- Experience: At least two years post-qualification experience (PQE) in Civil and Corporate/Commercial Law.
- Academic Background: Strong academic background in law.
- Industry Experience: Experience working in or with the financial services industry is advantageous.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work diligently under pressure and as part of a team.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
