Corporate & M&A Associate

Our client, a top-tier law firm in Malta, is currently seeking to recruit a Corporate & M&A Associate to join its team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in local and international M&A transactions, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings.
• Support and contribute to due diligence projects, preparing concise, high-level reports for global clients.
• Draft and review corporate and transactional documentation with precision and strategic insight.
• Provide legal advice on corporate governance matters and regulatory compliance issues.
• Liaise with foreign legal counsel and professional advisers on cross-border transactions.
• Work closely with partners and senior associates on multi-jurisdictional corporate projects.

Requirements:

• A warranted lawyer with 2–5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate or commercial law.
• Strong academic credentials and a detail-oriented, analytical mindset.
• Previous experience with international transactions or corporate advisory work will be considered an asset.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• A collaborative and proactive approach, with a genuine interest in building a long-term career in corporate law.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively.
