Corporate Legal Advisor

Ably Resources (Malta) Ltd is currently looking to recruit a Corporate Legal Advisor to join their client's team on a full-time basis.

About the Client:
Our Client is a well-known group of companies operating throughout a variety of sectors.

Job Role:
A Legal Advisor is required to join the legal team based in Mosta to provide advice on matters related to corporate law, financial services, capital markets etc.

Responsibilities of this role include:

• Providing legal advice and drafting relevant documentation for the various group companies 
• Drafting and approving contracts and agreements 
• Analysing and researching relevant legal matters
• Providing opinions on the development of various strategies ensuring companies adhere to relevant laws and regulations 
• Assisting the company secretary with relevant registrations
• Devising systems related to contracts, legal files, databases and the management of local documents
• Guiding group operations to ensure the companies conform to relevant laws that may affect the business
• Reviewing operational practices and evaluating the Group’s activities; making recommendations as necessary.

Talent will:

• Possess a local Warrant to practice Law
• Demonstrate 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Be an effective communicator in both English and Maltese
• Have the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
