Claims Manager

Our client, an Insurance Agent Company is looking to recruit at their motor/personal lines department that is expanding, an enthusiastic Claims Manager to join their team. 

This roles is open for both Junior and Senior candidates with the potential to grow, as respective training will be given.

Responsibilities:

• Interacting with customers through face-to-face interactions, email correspondence, and phone conversations 
• Addressing inquiries, generating quotations, and conducting follow-up communication through emails and phone calls 
• Responding to customer queries and providing explanations about products and services Issuing quotations, policies, and renewals 
• Negotiate settlements with third-party providers.
• Provide insights and recommendations.
• Performing any additional duties necessary to ensure the department operates smoothly 

The role involves handling telephone calls, following up on inquiries, and supporting the company's daily operations, including preparing and securing quotations and renewals. This position is ideal for someone looking to start or expand their career in insurance.

• At least 1 year of experience in Insurance or Office Administration or Customer Service
• Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Demonstrate intelligence, efficiency, and strong organizational skills.
• Offer a friendly greeting to customers and display a flair for sales.
• Possess excellent telephone manners and communication skills in both English and Maltese.
• Have the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Exhibit a sociable personality with a strong commitment to client service
