We’re looking for a Performance Management Analyst to strengthen our analytical capabilities by delivering high-quality financial and insurance performance insights. In this role, you will work closely with Finance, Technical, and Operations teams, transforming complex data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making and continuous business improvement.

📝 Job Role:

As a Performance Management Analyst, you will play a key role in improving reporting processes, building Power BI dashboards, and performing quantitative analyses that identify performance drivers and opportunities for improvement. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset, curiosity for data, and the ability to translate numbers into actionable business insights.

🤝 Key Responsibilities:

Performance & Financial Analysis

Analyse financial and insurance performance across key business lines.

Identify and explain performance drivers behind variances (Budget vs Actual, YTD vs Last Year, etc.).

Support the preparation of Board-level and management reporting.

Investigate trends and provide clear commentary on performance evolution.

Reporting & Dashboard Development

Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for KPI monitoring and performance tracking.

Automate recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Ensure data consistency and reliability across all reports and dashboards.

Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to enhance data models and reporting structures.

Quantitative & Data Analysis

Perform ad-hoc deep-dive analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making.

Use Power BI, Excel, and Python where relevant for modelling and analysis.

Develop performance indicators and analytical frameworks.

Support scenario analysis and forecasting when required.

Continuous Improvement & Insight Generation

Challenge existing reporting processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

Propose enhancements to data flows and reporting automation.

Provide structured recommendations based on analytical findings.

Promote a culture of performance transparency and accountability across the organisation.

Ad-hoc Strategic Support

Support special projects related to financial or operational performance.

Assist with the preparation of executive-level presentations.

Contribute analytical insight to cross-functional strategic initiatives.

💡 Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, performance management, controlling, FP&A, actuarial, or similar analytical roles.

Exposure to insurance KPIs (loss ratio, combined ratio, expense ratio) is a strong advantage.

Experience preparing management or Board-level reporting is beneficial.

🧠 Technical Skills:

Strong Power BI skills (data modelling, DAX, dashboard design).

Advanced Excel capabilities.

Python knowledge (pandas, basic modelling, automation) is a strong advantage.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data beyond surface numbers.

Ability to structure analyses clearly and communicate insights effectively.
