Payroll Officer - Part time

Our client in the insurance industry is seeking to hire a Payroll Officer on a part time basis. The role is primarily remote, with approximately 90% of the work conducted off-site, requiring office visits only for specific meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage payroll operations efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure compliance with Maltese employment laws, regulations, and payroll guidelines.
• Maintain and update payroll records in the Shireburn Indigo system.
• Generate payroll reports and ensure timely salary payments.
• Handle employee payroll queries with professionalism and discretion.
• Assist in tax and social security contributions compliance.
• Support internal and external audits related to payroll.

• Hands-on experience with Shireburn Indigo payroll software.
• In-depth understanding of Maltese employment laws and payroll regulations
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar payroll role
