Payroll Officer

A local company is currently on the lookout to recruit a Payroll Officer to join their team. 

Duties include: 

• Process and manage end-to-end payroll operations using Shireburn Indigo.
• Ensure accurate computation of salaries, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and statutory contributions.
• Handle payroll queries from employees and provide resolutions in a timely manner.
• Prepare payroll reports and liaise with finance for reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, social security contributions, and other statutory obligations.
• Process leave entitlements, sick leave, and other benefits as per company policies.
• Assist with audits and provide payroll-related documentation when required.
• Stay updated with labour laws and payroll-related regulations in Malta.

• Minimum of 2 years of local experience in Payroll
• Experience using Shireburn Indigo is a must
• Fluency in both written and spoken English
