Job vacancy: Operational Development Supervisor (Recruitment)

As an Operational Development Supervisor, you will play a key role in meeting operational recruitment targets for Customer Service teams based in Malta.

As a Supervisor within the Recruitment team, you will demonstrate strong communication and decision-making skills to conduct virtual/in-person interviews with applicants, assessing and proposing their suitability for advertised roles to the Operational Development Deputy Manager. You will be an effective leader with the ability to distribute daily workload based on recruitment priorities, liaising with Human Resources and external agencies where necessary.

In addition, you will be responsible for developing and motivating a team of advisors to ensure the highest quality of recruitment and selection processes are maintained, whilst providing an excellent candidate experience.

This position is offered on a full-time basis and candidates must be prepared to work any five days from seven, including weekends and public holidays.

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Experience in recruitment is advantageous
  • Fluency in English, written and verbal.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to openly share ideas or information.
  • Ability to coach, develop and motivate staff.
  • High level of organisation and prioritisation.
  • The ability to embrace change and lead by example.
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to provide justification.
  • Self-motivation and the capability to work under pressure.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Completing virtual and in-person interviews with external candidates.
  • Developing a team of Operational Development Advisors via recognised methods.
  • Acting as a point of contact for escalations.
  • Daily workload management and distribution.
  • Reporting to the Operational Development Deputy Manager on recruitment decisions.
  • Assisting the Operational Development Deputy Manager with recruitment tasks and projects to ensure efficient and effective processes.
  • Overseeing and ensuring accurate candidate records in the ATS.
