Our client is a local group that operates in various sectors and as they are growing they would like employ a Human Resources Manager to join their team

The Role

  • You will oversee all aspects of the human resources function
  • You will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the administrative functions of an organization's human resources department. You will ensure that HR operations are conducted smoothly
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent
  • Coordinate job postings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training
  • Develop and implement employee relations programs and initiatives to foster a positive work environment
  • Develop and implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms
  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate learning opportunities
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on performance-related issues
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards regarding compensation and benefits
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
  • Oversee the maintenance and utilization of HR information systems for data management, reporting, and analytics
  • Ensure that payroll is conducted on time, accurately and with the least amount of errors
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on performance-related issues
  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards
  • Be the go to person on HR related matters for the company
Skill-sets and Requirements
  • Have a minimum 3 years experience in Human Resources Management
  • Have experience leading a team
  • Can communicate at all levels
  • Be both strategic and operational
Education & Experience
  • Have tertiary education preferably in Human Resources
  • Employment Law qualification
